I am trying to start a photography business and was wondering?
If I had taken pictures of an event that you had held, how would like to see the finished product presented to you for review and choosing? What would you feel would be professional and yet pleasing to the eye.Would you rather have your photos put on a computer and shown to you as a slideshow, or put in an album where you can actually hold the photos. And if you would prefer them in an album, how would you like them displayed? In plastic sleeves, or in a self stick album page?

I am running a little " out of home" photography business in lane county, oregon..i've read online that in can claim my 'activity' as a hobby rather than a certified business for up to 5 years in order to prove whether or not it can be a profitable income....so...my question is....if i don't make much money through this 'activity' aka business...can i still claim my camera on my taxes? and what will that do? will they reimburse me or something? i have a friend who had an out of home computer business and he claimed his mileage and computer software on his taxes and it ended up to where it benefited him for his tax return. i just want to make sure i claim what i need to in order to verify my business when my 5 year time limit is up so i can get a business license. please let me know as i am so confused

Trying to start a photography business out of my home?
Ok so I am wanting to take photos of other peoples kids, and families, but I am having trouble with the pricing. I love how my photos of my kids turn out and I have many different backgrounds and some props, but not a real proffesional business or licence and all. I just need some advice on how much to charge people. Should I just charge like a session fee. I print all pictures through walmart.com so should I just take the photos and edit them and then give them to the customer all on a cd or should I print through walmart and charge them more than what I pay.
