Minor starting a photography business?
As im 14 years old, I want to start a small photography business. Next year I really would like to begin, but before I do, I want to make myself aware of the steps I need to do. Because im a minor, what fees are there, and who do I register myself with? Pretty much, where, when, and how do I start. I know that its not a great time to start, however, I do have a family willing to help and support me. Any information that I can understand would be greatly appreciated.
Starting my own photography business...what to do?
I have my website, name, email address, and business cards but what do I need to do to make myself legal and not get " in trouble" ? I also have my contracts and photo releases already typed up and ready to go. What about taxes and do I need a LLC?I have done weddings, newborn baby, maternity, animal, landscape, and bachelorette so far but want to get into the business aspect vs for free.Please do not put me down for choosing this as a business. It's something that I love and am trying to help people on a budget since I will be charging less than most in my area. I am about to be an EMT full time so I want my own business for the 48hrs of downtime after working 24hrs. Thanks Thanks Angela. I also do makeup so great idea.

Skip college and start my own photography business?
i'm a freshman in high school, and I sux at school. i get C's and D's and kinda F's. Its obvious i'm not getting into college at this rate and dont tell me i will, because ive been having this problem since 6th grade what i really wanna do and i'm good at is film photographyso is there a way a could just skip college and start my own photography business? what i really wanna do with that is take head shots and suchso how would i go about doing that?

I am under age and have started a photography business, I have clients and equipment, I just need to know how to be legal in NORTH CAROLINA, Using my last name as the photography business name and also how does 'DBAs" " Doing Business As" work can the last name be a " DBA?" So me and my two other friends thought of doing photography business, so we named it SF CAMERAWORKS. We are super young, but our photos are beyond than anyone could possibly imagine that a 15 year old and 19 year old photographer could do. anyway , we did a promotion of group photography, its the cheapest price a photographer would offer. So we in need of a superb, eye catching name, so that our business could move on. a fresh new name.
