Has anyone ever received an offer to become a mystery shopper and gotten a check for $4,000???
I received an offer to become a mystery shopper after filling out a survey and checking the box that I was interested. Inside with all the paperwork was a check for $4,200 for paid training that is $540, going to 1 store and spending $100 and using the rest of the money to transfer Western Union. I have to rate the store and the Western Union. The check is real and someone else I knew cashed it before but then never completed the assignment I would not do that I don't want to get in trouble I was just wondering how legit it was since the check is real??? has anyone else ever done this??that is what i thought since it sounded too good to be true and no one answered the phone number when i tried to call.

A few months ago i registerd on a few websites to do some paid surveys and i have recived a letter and check to become a mystery shopper at local stores like Gap, target, j.cpenny, walmart target etc.that would be considerd my first assignment. then my second is to do a money gram. well the ckeck is as follows....1. training pay..... 792.712. required funds to be transfered... 3,700.003. service charge....200.004. funds needed for shopping....260.00 a total of $4967.29The ckeck looks authentic and also has water marks security features. but im still scared to cash it. ive never had to send money or pay any kind of fee for this either. when i get to use the 260.00 to mystery shop i get to keep the merchandise i buy. what do i do. i hope this isnt cunfusing

I googled Mystery Shopper but its hard to find a reputable company. A lot of them turned out to be scams or they wanted money from you. I have friends that do it Pennsylvania and love to be paid to go out to eat but its to far for me to travel to. If anyone knows a company I would really appreciate your help
