What do you think? GFK is a mystery shopping company and they are refusing to pay me for a large job (21 hrs)?
I stayed an extra 3.5 hours to get the job done on the second day of the audit. In the briefing notes it does say to be there from 10 5 to be sure that the store is open. The store manager I worked with had no problem with me staying late since he had to work a double, and the store was open until 9pm. I finished the audit and a 518 page report only to have them refuse to pay me and now they are saying that they have to send in another auditor, why would they have to have it done all over again just because I wanted to do a good job and stayed 3.5 hours longer to do it? Also, there are other things in the briefing notes that do say you will not be paid if you don't do it, but it never said that about staying longer I am going to go to the Labor Board. Any suggestions?

As a student is a mystery shopper job something that is worth doing. It seems too good to be true and i'v heard a lot about scams in this kind of work. Are there any reputable companies out there? and is it something that is worth doing as a little side job to boost my income?

Independent mystery shopping for fair housing association or other?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me before I contacted any companies Is it possible to do independent mystery shopping for apartments and turn reports in to the fair housing association or some other place? I have been doing mystery shopping for a while now and it seems like every time myself or a friend is looking for an apartment and I m not working is when I get the office staff members who break fair housing laws. I am only simply able to make a complaint and then they will have someone shop them? Or can I go directly to the FHA with a report and be paid as an independent shopper?

Legitimate mystery shopping hiring?
Saw an ad in the newspaper for mystery shoppers. Called them up and after a bunch of questions they asked me for my debit card number and pin. Obviously a scam so I said fuck you and hung up. I don't doubt that part time mystery shopping jobs legitimately exist though. Where can I find a company that's legit?

I'm currently using bestmark.com, secretshopper.com and marketforce.com But these sites don't have too many selection. I'd like to mystery shop large grocery and department stores like Target, JcPenny, Walmart, Vons. Or even smaller clothing stores. So does anyone know any sites that are legit?Please don't suggest the ones I already listed

Question about legit no start up cost mystery shopping.?
I am very intrested in being a mystery shopper who goes to the actual store location not an over the computer shopper. I would like to know a list of legit companies that will pay me to shop and write reviews for their company or who will pay for the items purchased so that I will write reviews for thier company. I do not want info on places where I have to pay to get the info or to join a group adn pay just to find the work. these are not what I am looking for.I am not talking about fashion I am talking about all kinds of store. A secret shopper is some one who is paid by a company say like HEB and they go in and shop like a normal costumer and while doing so evaluate the employees behavior and quality of the store and so forth then they write a report on the entire experience and give the report back to the main office. This has nothing to do with fashion.
Mystery Shopping/Online Survey Questions?!?!?
Well, here's the scoop, I am looking to make some extra money, but since I am 7 months pregnant I can't really go out looking for a 2nd PT job and don't really want to at the moment, just got rid of a second job But if I can do things like mystery shopping or online surveys and make a little $$ then I would like that..so please tell me, how much can you make doing this, what are reliable and trust worthy sites and is it worth it?
Will the Gapbuster Mystery Shopping company ever get sued for ripping off the big companies and their shoppers?
Gapbuster a Mystery Shopping company, are blatantly ripping people off. They contract Mystery Shoppers to Mystery Shop and do reports, with the promise of a payment for your work. Little do people know is they have a quota each week, they must invalidate peoples reports. Thus making you do the work, taking your reports but refusing to pay you. They then sack you with no explanation. It's not just one or two shoppers, it's every shopper at a certain stage. They are stealing and ripping people off. Yet each week they have new suckers, sorry I mean shoppers that they do the same to. They way they treat people is third world and disgusting. Will they ever get sued?
