Reliable mystery shopping program information
What's a good mystery shopping program?
I've been seeing programs that let me earn money while mystery shopping. Has anybody done mystery shopping before, and what's a good program to sign up for with that?
Has anyone been "invited" to participate in a mystery shopping program? ?
I got a letter in the mail today from a place called Universal Trust Agency, with an address of Rigaud PQ, I am not really sure where that is. . It is an invitation to be a mystery shopper in my local area. There was also a rather large check included. The company name on the check is Sanders & Associates, INC, and also has the name A Sanders Consulting & Associates Company out of Dallas Texas, with bank being Citibank Texas. There was a number to call, so I did it just to see what it is all about. The man that I talked to said that I am supposed to cash the check, use $50 of the money to use for " research" at gas stations, then $300 would be my pay for that. Then I am supposed to " test" a Money Gram place by sending $2400 to a friend or family member in another state. He said not to tell whoever it is that I am sending the money, I am supposed to make out the thing to myself, then call the number back, then go get the money back from the Money Gram thing. He told me that I can take this check to a check cashing place, but not a bank unless I have an account. I could also endorse the check and have a friend deposit it into their bank account. Is this a scam? Or is it real? It sounds like a scam to me, but I do not understand why they would tell me I CAN cash the check. Just looking for some help on this.I forgot to add that the place is NOT asking for me to send money back to them. I was told that all I had to do was fax or email my reports to them after checking the gas stations and the MOney Gram place.
