What do you think? GFK is a mystery shopping company and they are refusing to pay me for a large job (21 hrs)?
I stayed an extra 3.5 hours to get the job done on the second day of the audit. In the briefing notes it does say to be there from 10 5 to be sure that the store is open. The store manager I worked with had no problem with me staying late since he had to work a double, and the store was open until 9pm. I finished the audit and a 518 page report only to have them refuse to pay me and now they are saying that they have to send in another auditor, why would they have to have it done all over again just because I wanted to do a good job and stayed 3.5 hours longer to do it? Also, there are other things in the briefing notes that do say you will not be paid if you don't do it, but it never said that about staying longer I am going to go to the Labor Board. Any suggestions?

I have been a mystery shopper for a few months now and am currently working with a couple dozen companies. I see shops for banks, gas stations, and stores like hhgregg and mall vendors. The only restaurantt ones I have seen are for tgi fridays, texas roadhouse, and subway I want to do more restaurants like applebees, olive garden, red lobster, panera, quiznos.... I know most do them because I have worked in the restaurant business for 7 years. I have searched many forums and such and no one has answers. If anyone could tell me the companies that typically have those kinds if restaurants I would be very grateful Thank you ps... i live in northeast ohio
