I recently got scamed with a mystery shopper job where i was given a check for $4400.00 to deposit into my?
account. i went out on my assignment which involved shopping at a retailer spending $200 for items i could keep and then making two western union transfers in the amounts of $1855 and $1834. i was told the next business day i would return the transfers and thats how i would get paid. now the check has returned on my account and i am negative. i cant get in contact with the company which seem legitimate. now the bank is holding me resposible. but i feel since i was scammed and never used the money for my personal use and have all my documents this should be something that should be fixed since it was a scam. what should i do because i dont have that amount of money to pay back.
