Legitimate mystery shopping hiring?
Saw an ad in the newspaper for mystery shoppers. Called them up and after a bunch of questions they asked me for my debit card number and pin. Obviously a scam so I said fuck you and hung up. I don't doubt that part time mystery shopping jobs legitimately exist though. Where can I find a company that's legit?
Garnishing wages over a bad mystery shop - Is this legal?
I work as a shift manager for McDonald's.Every month, we get mystery shopped. Most of the time, we pass. But when we don't, our franchise owner " punishes" us shift managers by dropping our wages from 9.45 an hour to 8.45 an hour for an entire month This punishment applies to any manager on the shift, and any manager that was there 30 minutes before the shop Even if their shift ended and they had already left I have talked about this with many people, and everyone agrees with my belief that this is illegal. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Independent mystery shopping for fair housing association or other?
I was wondering if anyone could tell me before I contacted any companies Is it possible to do independent mystery shopping for apartments and turn reports in to the fair housing association or some other place? I have been doing mystery shopping for a while now and it seems like every time myself or a friend is looking for an apartment and I m not working is when I get the office staff members who break fair housing laws. I am only simply able to make a complaint and then they will have someone shop them? Or can I go directly to the FHA with a report and be paid as an independent shopper?

I am technically a member of Mystery Customer Evaluations mystery shopping service. Some time in July, I signed up to do a female haircut assignment. I suddenly found myself unable to do the assignment for personal reasons and called them to tell them I was no longer able to do it.Since then, I've not received email notifications of assignments and although my user details are still on their system I can't choose any assignments as the system says I'm not eleigible for whatever's going.I emailed them once and never heard anything from them again.Many thanks if you can help
