I am trying to find a legitimate mystery shopping company that is free to sign up and complete jobs with. One that will not later try to tell me that I have to pay them for membership if I want to continue to receive jobs to shop for. I need to find a different way to make money. Thank you.Would it kill people to exclude the smart Alec remarks? There is no reason for that. Obviously in this economy, it is quite difficult to get a " job" . Don't be an idiot.
Can an employee be given disciplinary action over a poor mystery shopper score?
I know someone who was recently given a poor mystery shopper score of 44 %. They have been told by their employer Marks & Spencer that they are going to be given disciplinary action for it. Seems a bit harsh, especially considering a previous mystery shopper gave her 100 % before.I thought that companies weren't allowed to do this any more. Please can you let me know if there are any policies preventing employers from disciplining their staff over mystery shoppers, or do companies have their own separate policies relating to this?

Tax on mystery shopper income in uk?
I'm thinking about doing a bit of mystery shopping for a bit of extra cash , it won't be much prob anywhere between 20 to 50 a month. I assume as it's a 2nd income as I work part time already I will be paying 22 % tax on this but the mystery shopper companies don't deduct tax so what's the best way for me to do this? Do I have to do a self assessment tax return every year? And then make a 1 off payment to HMRC every April? Seems alot of work for only an additional few hundred pound a year but then I spose something is better than nothing. Any advice appreciated.
