When the federal wage increased do we increase the minimum wage requirements of our import countries?
I'm just curious. Wouldn't it be nice if the U.S. set minimum work condition standards on companies that import goods and services. If they failed to meet the minimum standards it would require higher tariffs for import. I think the flow of American jobs to Mexico which has much lower labor standards would slow down significantly if something like this was implemented.What do you all think?
