Can a 17 year old work in a doggy day care/salon?
I love animals and I want to be a vet when I'm older, but for now I just want to work in a day care for dogs. Since I don't have time during the school year, I want to do it over the summer next year. I will be 17. Can I work there? I live in NJ by the way.I don't want to do any of the grooming since I have no idea how to.I just want to care for the dogs.

I'm a CNA in Texas and Im looking for a job in an adult day care center. Are CNA's needed there? I would rlly enjoy working with the elderly as they do arts & crafts, and I don't mind assisting in personal cleaning etc. I don't rlly wants to work a nursing home or hospital. For some reason a day care seems like a happier place. If they don't need CNA what else could I apply for there?

Do you think we can afford 2 kids, pay for day care and save for college? Income of 85,000/yr?
Hi, we're debating if we should have a second child we realized basically it comes down to finances. We expect to have combined income of 78,000 for a year and then maybe it'll go up to 85,000, but expect no increase thereafter. We're in early mid 40s so if we want another child, we shold do it pretty much right away no comment telling me not to have another child because of our age that's out of scope of this question . We have saved about 230,000 for retirement so far, and we'd like to continue saving 15 % of income in 401k. Other than that, we have about 10,000 in savings.We'd like to save for college expense for both children maybe enough for tuition, they can work part time for living expenses so they don't have to carry loans for undergrad degree. Daycare costs 600 month each. 3 more years for our first, 5 years for second. 1,200 mo for mortgage and ESCROW tax and insurance . Continuing for the next 29 years.No other loans, debts, but both our cars are pretty old, probably we'll have get a loan when we buy our next cars.We'd like to visit our kids' grandparents who live overseas annually or every two years that would cost us 5,000 each year or every other year.Do you think a second child is affordable, without being squeaky tight financially?Thanks Hi, thank you for your responses. It seems like things are not looking good.Just as a clarification, my intent was to ask as a general matter, if a household with an income of 85,000 should be able to afford 2 children and pay for child care and save for college . If we are not saving as much as others with the same income, we must be wasting money on something, not spending wisely, so we would adjust accordingly. You can take into account the details I mentioned, but if you could also let me know if people have household income of 85,000 they should be able to or usually can't afford two children plus child care, college so we may want to re examine our expenses so we are saving more etc. that would be great. Can I work in a day care and Hooters?
I'm planning on going to a community college for my associates degree in early childhood education so I can work in a daycare. Would I be fired if I also work and or previously worked at Hooters? Thanks

Neighbor Running home day care, kids screaming outside all day effecting my home business. What should I do?
After being laid off from AT& T, and finding no gainful employment, I have decided to start a small online business. Right now I'm selling things on ebay, while at the same time building a website to sell my products on. Doing both at the same time is very time consuming and requires a lot of focus, especially since this is my life on the line here, I'm also pressed for time with no income. My neighbor directly to the right of my house, apparently has some sort of day care thing going on. They have a big fence around the property, so I cant see whats happening over there. All I can hear is screaming of kids for about 12 hours a day. These screams are really loud, they drown out music, and my TV. It starts from about 6 30 Am, and goes until late into the afternoon. It's very hard for me to focus because it sounds like there are 20 kids there just going, " AHHHHHHHHHH " all day long, and it's nerve racking. I know I sound like a jerk, but I've tried everything. Nothing drowns out that screaming. And it doesn't stop, it just goes everyday for about 12 straight hours. and I can hear it in any room of my house that has a window. What should I do about this? My business is doing great off the line, but that noise throw's me off a lot. It's to the point where I have people on the phone tell me they can hear it in the backround, forcing me to take all my business calls in my garage.

I had researched that day care workers don't get paid a lot.
