Can a daycare management tell staff that they cannot babysit the children after daycare hours?
I work for a daycare center and there are 2 children there whom I've been asked by the parent to babysit on nights weekends and days that the daycare is closed holidays but they still have to work. My employer never cared about it before. But all of a sudden it's become a big deal and it's " going against policy" . Not once in my 2 years of employment there have I ever been shown any such policy that I cannot babysit a daycare client outside of the daycare on my own time. Is it legal for them to switch their rules and policies at random? What are the legalities of this situation? All staff are having a meeting about this on this coming Friday and I would like to be armored with some research and background information about this issue.

iam planing on attednging marvel colledge for hairstyling but iam a little consider that as a single mom i can only work well i have daycare.. all the local daycares are opean monday to friday 7 to 5... around there... Do you know if there is any way to still build up clintel and have the opertunity to make a secuer income???
