my fiancee works at a daycare there are usually 6 7 people on staff at any one time, she works full time 40hrs 8 hour days BUT SHE DOESNT GET A BREAK every job ive ever worked gives you at least a 30 minute unpaid break, now given they dont deduct the thirty minutes but never the less she doesnt have any time to eat, smoke a cig etc somtimes there excuse is because of ratios ie no more then 4 children to 1 worker in her room othertimes they say the employer signed a contract forgoing breaks i dont see how this could be anything other then bullshit as to how can you sign someone ELSES rights away in either case i found this relating to the situation it pertains to our state CT see details the only thing i can think of is the public endagerment relating to ratios, if some one knows about this or could tell me where to find the ratio's law for CT so i could see if it some how applies id be very appreciative TiaSec. 31 51ii. Can somebody fix up my cover letter as a trainee child care worker?its really crappy. :/?
To ,My Name is , im and I am very interested in pursuing a career as a Trainee Child Care Worker. I did childcare at school for 3 years from year 10 12 so i am very aware of the skills which a baby toddler must develop and continue to develop in as a child as well as the tasks involved with looking after a child.I am great with babies and toddlers and love being around them, playing games and reading stories. I have two cousins one a toddler and the other a baby who I see on a regular basis. I also regularly babysit toddlers and children in the village which I live in.I have gained a lot of essential skills through my other jobs including babysitting, volunteering for the Fire Service, and the various school work experiences which I have attended one of which being at preschool as well as their primary school. I have also received my First Aid Certificate through the Red Cross where my communication and interpersonal skills were put to test as I assisted in false emergency situations, I have also recently completed my final year of school.I am self motivated, task oriented, I have a flexible schedule and enjoy working with others toward accomplishing a common goal. I am prepared to take on the duties involved as a Trainee Child Care worker as well as the study involved.I feel that I can make a valuable contribution to your workplace.I hope you will consider meeting me to talk about employment and what I can bring into your Child Care Center to suit your satisfaction. Please call me on to further discuss my application. Thank you very much.Regards Its a cover letter so an intro and yeah it was advertised.
