Can I open savings for my baby brothers?
Well I was thinking about opening a bank account with Chase and I saw they have Chase Plus Savings. I was wondering can I open one for each of my little brothers. One is almost 3 and the other almost 1. I just want to make sure they have something as backup in case we my family and me , are not around.

Full time school and newborn baby on welfare?
I found out I was pregnant and told my boyfriend we both need jobs.I am already looking for a job and plan to work through my pregnancy and save as much as I can.My boyfriend on the other hand, is not in school and is trying to get his GED, so he can't get a job because he can't get a work permit. But I told him " get any kin of job at least try" And THIS is what he said " I'm gonna go to school college full time for 3 years and then I can get a job" and I said " how do you plan to go to school full time and have a newborn baby?" and he said " I can be on welfare" I was stunned that his plan is to be on welfare an freeload. I told him " why don't you get a job part time AND go to school part time" and he said " because I can be on welfare " I'm really pissed off. I believe we should worry about jobs and saving money for the baby and i am NOT going to be lazy and get welfare when I can work.So basically my question is, how much do they usually give for welfare in California? And would it be possible for him to go to school full time while helping to pay for a newborn, if his only income is Welfare? Because I highly doubt it is. He said he can just " pay the school fees when he's done with school" which also doesn't seem possible
Budgeting advice needed, baby on the way, new house?
I have been battling this in my head. The house affordability calculator is saying we can afford a home loan of 200k, but we can get all we want for 120k so I don't see any reason to get anything more expensive.Right now. We are doing fine financially. We have a cheaper house that's an hour commute for me, and 20 minutes in the same direction for him. If we moved into the town where I work, I would be 10 15 minutes from home, RIGHT next to the baby's future elementary, the baby sitter I would use in a couple blocks from my work. And my husband's commute would be about 30 minutes.I'm going to use his truck and he will use my civic to make the most sensible use of gas, and since my car is a 2 door and his is 4 door. It seems good for safety of the baby.Anyways right now our net income after taxes, health insurance retirement etc is between $7500 8000 a month. We have $3300 in bills at this time including our current mortgage. My car is paid off, his is not, and won't be paid off for 5 years. He has a motorcycle payment that is about $400 and a year from being paid. If we move to the house we are looking at, plus $500 for daycare per month and $300 budgeted for baby living and supplies per month I will be pumping, and using a combo of disposable and cloth diapers We come to $5400 in expenses including $400 for food and $500 for gas I'm shooting high as always to cover any possible travel since my parents are a couple hours away and we like to drive there sometimes .So we end up with $2100 to $2600 in " free" income each month. So 28 % to 32.5 % of our aftertax income would be " free" of obligations, to save or cover any miscellaneous things. Is this a budget stretched too far? Should we try renting our current house? We will try listing it but are tired of putting more money into something that we don't think will sell and isn't a big enough deal to sell in our heads since it's near a lake and has a spacious 2 acre lot. The sale price was like $50k and we owe like $35k'ish on it.Any opinions please. I'm Miss Plan everything out and want any input possible. Thanks No No no... We have already been the lime green black door route, we are NOT getting a fixer upper, we have one now. He's already been that route and it's a MONEY PIT. I appreciate that you guys had better luck, but we will not be getting anything that needs any work. That's just wasted money even 10k is too much to waste on repairs for a house. The house we're looking at has everything done exactly how we want, and that's what matters. I'm looking at our individual budget and it's not looking that great.. reminds me of when I had my apartment before on my own, and that SUCKED lol $640 in rent for a little one bedroom. We're in Oklahoma which is SO much cheaper, but still in town it can be steep for what we want. I already know we don't need nor should get a $200k house. We have a lot of what I'd call 'temporary' debt, like non cars, meaning we don't need to replace them with new loans because it's stuff we didn't need, toys
In the england how old do u have to be to baby sit?

If I have a baby in November 2012, can I claim the baby as a dependent on my 2012 taxes?
Will my baby be covered under my fathers insurance if I am?
I am 20 years old and currently a college student with a part time job. I live with my boyfriend, but I am still covered under my dads insurance. I recently found out I was pregnant, but how will the insurance work? I looked at the benefits and dependents which I assume is me get about 90 % of all services covered. What all will happen exactly with covering with hospital bills and visits for the baby with coverage? The insurance he has is United Healthcare Choice Plus. Any information would be great if anyone has any experience thanks Sorry for the confusion when I say father I meant to say my dad, not the father of my child.

I need to know how much money it takes to keep up a house with me and my husband, our baby paying bills, etc?
I'm fifteen years old, and I am currently 8 months pregnant. Yes, I understand that is young. But I do not care what your opinion is on me being a teenage mother. I asked how much money will I need to survive and keep up my family. I didn't ask your opinion on anything other than that, so please do not give me anyother answer or opnion that doesn't relate to the question I asked. So I am looking at colleges and jobs. I am already sure what college I want to go to. I am also thinking I want to be a vet or a pediatrician. But that doesn't matter. What I want to know is how much money it is going to take to take for me to have a house, a car, insurance, food, bills, all the other stuff, so that way I ca make sure that the job I choose has an income that I can manage my life with. Also before you go on being a bunch of imature children and tell me that I am making a bad decison I just want to let you know that I am not stupid. So before you ask your questions...YES I have thought about it,YES I am going to keep it.YES yes I'm staying in school and all that crap so shut up.and so on. I know that I can't get into college now at age 15, and not get a jobb to support a baby at 15 or get a car. But my grandmother is giving me a place to live and the money I need and also she is helping me and my boyfriend buy a house after we get out of college AND it also has nothing to do with any of you So I as again please don't bring in drama, just answer my question please and help me out. Thanks.Okay for the people answering this.. I already said I had someone to pay for my stuff now.. I'm talking years and tears from now when I eventually am on my own,. so like I said. Just anwer the question
