Starting a cleaning business - Help please..?
Hi, i have recently been thinking about starting my own cleaning business. I have made my website skybluecleaning.co.uk .I'm after some advise from anyone who may have done this before.First until the business gets flowing just me and my partner will be doing the work cleans. What typw of insurance would we need. And any other cover? Amny type of business lisence? Anything else?Would really appreciate the info obviously i will be looking into it more indepth and want to do things properly. When we employ people we want them to be self employed as i am for a cleaning company at the minute. How do i go about this as the employer?thanksEven if im paying cash in hand and they are going to be in charge of paying their own tax and national insurance?
Advice for starting a cleaning business?
I would like to start a residential cleaning company. I would start doing it on the side and eventually full time. I am looking for advice guidance from people who have done this. What resources books websites did you use to help guide you through the process? I particularly need help with the insurance bonding part of it. Any advice guidance I can get would be greatly appreciated.

My friend and I have been searching for work for so long that we are considering starting up our own cleaning general household help business. I have most household cleaning supplies that we will need and in the state of Idaho it's only $25 to get a sole proprietorship license. If we went with an LLC it would be $100 I believe. Her boyfriend brought up a good point where what if somebody accuses us of stealing something or damaging property so he said we would need to be licensed and bonded, which could be expensive, but I don't know if it's necessary just starting out. I might consider limited liability to protect us. I was also having a hard time finding out what competitors are charging because they all say to call for a quote and it seems to depend on a lot of different factors. I want to try to be lower but make enough to make having the business worth it. I am interested in respondents who have their own business or know somebody who does in this industry so I can see what we need to do or get an idea of where to start.

Hi there every one, im going to start a cleaning business and im going to vs all cleaning workers on prices and in order for me to do this it is up to you to help me achieve this by helping me to understand what people today are conning you out on, i understand some window cleaners are very greedy and get more than what they should really but this goes far deeper.Now what i need to find is how much do carpet cleaners, window cleaner, tenancy cleaners and detail cleaners are earning in the sole trade system by hour or by job, therefore i can offer you a better deal.it is up to you if you want to read on from here or answer the question.i have done my revision on problems in the uk and we know that jobs are hard to find and traders cost to much, of course there is nothing out there, at some point we all including the government develop a greed such as things like raising money in tax or petrol stations, and the worst one where the government are thinking about putting tax on bycicalists as they are trying to get more people off the road etc. What im trying to say is money is going up so much it is causing many problems and we just cant afford to pay anything and by now money is a major issue. Getting leads for a cleaning business?
So, we are having a cleaning business and we are signed up with servicemagic for our leads. But it seems that a lot of the leads that we are getting are either old or fake. They charge no matter what, which is something we can not afford, if we have no good leads. We want to leave servicemagic but we don't know any other ways of getting good leads, other then craigslist which is very RISKY business . We have look at contractors.com and it seems like they are doing the same as servicemagic and even worse because I have been reading of people losing 1000s of dollars by working for them, we can't afford to lose to much money for this is our only source of income right now. Does anyone know of some trustful websites that can provide up to date leads, at free or at least relatively cheap prices and aren't scam artists?? If anyone know anywhere and anyone who can help that would be greatly appreciated.
