Based on IF.. I am able to get at least 8 12 customers. I found an inexpensive web site for the flyers and business cards. Its creative and will do me well in that regards. I have prior cleaning experience. I am going to go Organic.. with holistic products I use that are good for the environment.. pet and people friendly.. for their breathing and ingestion for pets. I researched this..and only found a few out there that do this type of cleaning. I also would like to add to my services.. Organic gift baskets I can create.. as well as an added bonus some Organic dog treat baskets.. I don't know much about cats in terms of that the eat or treats.. etc. But.. if the person has pets .. its a perk bonus too. My Question Is In the beginning I am just starting out.. and do not know if or when this will take off in the number of clients I need to succeed at this .. for me 8 12. More like 12. When I get these flyers and business cards printed out.. it says to include a business name that I will be creating. However.. if the business takes off and I register the name it has to be available to use or not taken . The name may have to change. Would this look bad to my clients? Also.. would the clients you think typically be okay with me not being licensed, registered and bonded.. or insured.. early on when I am just testing this all out to see if I can first make a go of this financially.. before.. I spend my money on all the formalities? The products I am starting out with are inexpensive.. and I very well will look into up grading and going to shows.. trade shows etc.. to purchase even better quality ones in the future. Also.. am I allowed to make and sell baskets with products I purchase from a store to clients? I am just going to put the flyers in mail boxes with business cards all over town. I also use to clean this wealth mans home on the lake a huge mansion. I am going to let him know I am back at it.. and I am starting this up.. maybe he knows others interested and neighbors etc. When I am ready... and IF this picks up catches on.. which seems to be an awesome concept... Tips on starting my own house cleaning service??HelloI am currently working for a house cleaning service and have only worked there about 2 weeks. They gave me a pretty decent position making $9 an hour as a team leader, however, we only do approx. 25 hours a week right now. I have been pondering starting my own house cleaning service because i feel i may be able to make more money providing a smaller service to nearby homes. I fig. i could just do the basic dusting vacumming etc. I have no idea if i should do this or not and if so HOW?? I mean i cant just quit my job and start advertising, i would need to have some permanet customers to atleast make what i make now b4 i could quit my job. This also means working my weekends off till i get it going. How much should i charge?does it make sense to quit my job and take this risk ?any tips would be fantastic...THANKS

How do you go about starting your a house cleaning business? How do you give a price quote on a job? Do you have to get license, insurance? If you have experience in this business, do you get alot of problems with your customers. I'm also scared if something gets missing from their home and they have just misplaced it I might get blamed. What do you do if that happens?
