I have a website and sell quality products. However I am not driving too many customers to my site. I have a lot of ideas to get customers. The problem is that I don't have the money to get this ideas rolling. I have bad credit and can not get a small business loan. Ebay small business advice?
I used to sell some things on Ebay a couple of years ago buying at car boot sales and selling on . It wasnt a lot of stuff really and was a bit of a hobby of mine. I only did it for a few months and then stopped but I still have some of the items left. My husband has recently been made redundant so I would now like need to have a proper business selling off the old things I had bought and buying new similar stock etc. I want to incorporate my older items but I dont have any receipts for most of it so sorting out the tax etc will be a nightmare because I cant prove exactly how much I paid. Most came from boot sales and some from a supermarket clearance. I know roughly what I paid but really dont know what to do. Any suggestions? It is about 750 in total and is probably enough to jump start a small business.

Running a small business - Advice wanted?
Hello, I hope to have my own business at some point when I grow up so I always wondered, If you own for example a small Hotel B B how do owners check employees Managers aren't pocketing the money themselves not recoding sales? I know you can employ managers, but they could all be in on a money spinner, couldn't they. Richard Branson doesn't check on his shops all the time...Thanks.

Wage/ employee issue with small business - advice needed. please!?
Hi, For the past week now i have been trying to decide whether i should raise the following issue with my boss or not.For the past 4 years i have worked at a small signwritting design print company. Since i left school basically, i am 20, I earn an ok wage, which i can live with and pays all i need to pay and save, and i also have access, to a company vehicle which i can use outside of work hours and at weekends.I can pretty much do everything, i feel i am a fairly able designer, and i can use every piece of cutting and printing Equipment and maintain them well. I also deal with alot of our customers on a daily basis and have even run my own jobs before.Recently a new employee who i know fairly well, from the local pubs etc started working and it came up in conversation last week that he earns 11 pounds more a day than i do. He is a very hard worker, maybe even more so than i am at times, but he is completely computer illiterate and seems to show no interest in any of the machinery. He basically is just helping out with all the more physical sides of the job. Hes been working here over a month now, and i can tell he has no real interest in it, like i do, hes just here for the money He is quite a bit older than me, which is why i think my boss might be paying him more. He also doesn't have access to the company vehicle which is obviously worth more that 11 pound a day.So basically what it comes down to, is that i am comparing my self, working in a business i feel i could basically run by myself these days to basically a glorified laborer cleaner, who is earning over 200 more a month than me.I dont want to come across as big headed or anything, but some of you must know what its like to have been part of a business for so long, you feel you know it inside out, My boss sometimes rings me up to ask me advice about prices, jobs etc. Please tell me if i am just being jealous, but should i raise this issue with my boss? Im sure its because this guy is in his late 20s and I hang around with a load of students, but why should age matter over skill.Anyway, sorry for rambling, And thanks For any help in advance .
