Niches and searches? Ugh...blog ideas?
Hello everyone Just a few words about myself before I ask, so that you know how to answer.I am a college student who is very computer savvy, and I like to create web pages as well as articles and things, especially about my hobbies and such.Now, as we all know, college is coming all too soon, and once I go back, I will be out of work and unable to work, I am taking 19 credit hours spread out over all times of the day, and so I hoped to make money with my blogs using Google ad sense and things like that. However, the topics I write about are usually way too broad, and so I was thinking I would go into a much more narrow niche so that I could generate more traffic, since I could never compete with the top results on my current niches. I know there's the keyword tool from google, which is great However... how can I tell which keywords I should base my new niche around? Keywords that get only 50 100 searches a month seem too low to care about, and niches that get 50k plus seem way too hard to compete with. Should I aim for keywords with 1k searches or something? I would be so happy to make anything like 10 dollars a day, just something to help me get by.In any case, thank you very much for any time spent answering this.

I have to write a blog for class. HELP It must be INFORMATIVE.No blogs about hobbies, shopping, fashion, celebrity gossip, ect. It has to be one specific topic. Thanks in advance I didn't think I would have to be so specific, but I am asking for BLOG TOPIC IDEAS, not for someone to write the blog for me. Then again, I could blog about ignorance.

I've been thinking of blog ideas FOREVER, and I really want to make a cool one that expresses my cooky personality. I've recently thought of one that incorporates many aspects of my life that I think make a great blog The title would be " justanotherzombie.com" , and the header would be a zombie riding a rollercoaster. I'd blog about my everyday life, as wacky and crazy as it can get. I'm also a huge fan of the paranormal and horror if you couldn't tell, so I'd blog about LOTS of that too. Hello. Long story short, I am an Anglophile. An Anglophile is a person who is fond of English culture or, more broadly, British culture. Yes. So I have started a blog on blogspot. I wanted to write about british related things, such as, talking about an episode or film I have watched, something about a band or singer, etc.However, I want to narrow it down. I don't want to write about just one show or film, because they cn get canceled, then I won't have anything to write about.I am passionate about the English culture. I see make up guru's post some fashion beauty tips on their page .... I want to do something like that, but related to my anglophile ways, if you will.Help?
Would this be a good blog idea?
For my information technology class at temple university, we have to create an e portfolio and a blog. I was thinking, would a blog that took different concepts from a broad variety of common classes taken by college goers, briefly explained the essence, and had a sort of " decoding" that follows the concise explaination be a good idea? For instance, I could take the concept of money laundering in business law, briefly describe it, and then give a common sense, layman's description example of what it means in everyday terms, to help people understand it. and use colorful language so its not a snorefest.haha i was so tunnel minded on blogging that i didn't factor in the fact that a mountain of other books, not blogs, already accomplish this. I mean maybe it would be more interesting if I chose a single class i'm taking and sort of did this type of thing with it, but added the narrative that new blog post are written in accordance with the progression of the class.

I made a facebook page a few weeks ago as Hank Hill from the popular animated series King of the Hill as an inside joke between me and my friends, soon however I found myself getting anywhere from 5 to 20 friend requests a day I'm at 300 now . I was wondering if I could blog as my Hank Hill Character that these people seem to obsess over and use google ad ware to makes some money off it. I know that I will have at least 20 people following every post, about 100 checking it at least once a week, and dozens more who will at least glance at it once or twice a week, so if it's legal I'll make a couple of bucks off it.
