My fiance and I own four properties 3 are rentals .All of a sudden in late June, I had this " fabualous" idea to start a Bed & Breakfast.All of a sudden I started looking at houses to buy that are more expensive than our primary we have now.We well have to sell our primary to buy another house to turn it into a B& B.I am thinking of taking all the money out of my 401k 32k to buy this " new" house.I found a property I want. It is a fixer upped in short sale. We can but it for $420 and it appraised for $700k.Fixed up, it is worth close to or over 1million.I want to buy it, take a Home Equity Loan out and fix it up and start the B& B.Have I gone insane?? Should I go through with my plans?Should buy the short sale property, sell my current house and get into more debt to fix up the new place?Help advice needed Thanks

I am seeking advice for the financing of a bed and breakfast lodge business. I have 10 acres of picturesque land in Park Co, Colorado. It is less than a mile to the border of Pike national forest, an hour's drive from skiing in Breckenridge, and about an hour from Colorado Springs.Will a commercial loan work for the cost of building? Is there a way for a small business loan to cover costs of furnishing the building and marketing expenses to get started?
