Hi, i run a small family food business. it is a sole trader run business owned 100% by my mother.?
she has nothing to do with the day to day running of the company. She is the proprietor, i am the manager and run the business alone. She basically just takes the profit. At the end of the year i am being made a partner in the business. My question is what would be best to do turn the company into a partnership, llp or ltd company. Tax wise i'm assuming partnership would be best. If i went down this route what would our job titles be? Joint proprietor partner director etc? Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks

I'm not one yet. I was wondering what are some universal procedures, laws, guidelines that everyone trying to become a business owner should know. I understand that everywhere is different but Im sure there are basic to knows about the process.Also, the business im thinking of is like a arcade mixed with a place to hear local bands. It would be for all ages but I assume that most of the demographic would be teens.
